Juventus Duorinaah Is The First Ever Hearing Impaired Student To Graduate From Law School In Ghana

Juventus Duorinaah graduated with second-class honours from the University of Ghana School of Law

His main means of communication is the Ghanaian Sign Language.
He is a product of the following Schools;

1. Wa School for the Deaf (WADEAF), Basic Education

2. Secondary Technical/School for the Deaf, Mampong Akwapim
3. University of Ghana B.A in Sociology and minored in Political Science.

4. School of Law and Politics, Cardiff University, where I hold a Degree in Human Rights Law.
He comes from a community where deafness is seen as a curse, bad luck, unfortunate and all manner of negative
perceptions.

These perceptions, he believes, do not only affect how society provides the needed support, but results in very little
to no investment in the education of the deaf.

Juventus is motivated to succeed. His aim is be a role model for other persons with disability; inspire confidence in
parents who have deaf children; and the society at large to give opportunities to persons with disabilities.

He aspires to become a qualified human rights lawyer one day. His aim is to, rather than engage in advocacy,
engage in strategy litigation to advance the rights of persons with disability.

His Hobbies include reading autobiographies of successful people, researching and helping others.
